Canyons, cultures and environmental change:: An introduction to the land use history of the Colorado plateau. This site, hosted by the Center for Environmental Studies and Education at Northern Arizona University and associated with the Land Use History of North America project, focuses on the impact of human history on the natural history of the Colorado Plateau. It is a ”superb resource for all environmental studies as well as a prime topical reference in the geology, geography, history, and social studies of the American West.”
