Kimberly DeSantis, MSN, RN
Lecturer in Nursing
I obtained my BSN from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. My passion was to teach nursing so I returned to Wright State for a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education. I worked at Reid Hospital on the telemetry floor before beginning to teach at IU East in 1997.
I teach community and management courses for senior BSN students. My classes include Community NURS-S 472: A Multi-System Approach to Health fo the Community and NURS-S 473: A Multi-System Approach to the Health of the Community: The Practicum. I also teach NURS-S 485: Professional Growth and Empowerment and NURS-S 482: Nursing Management: The Practicum.
