ASN - Degree Requirements
All candidates for the degree Associate of Science in Nursing must fulfill the following requirements:
- Grades: Students must attain a minimum Cumulative grade-point-average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, and all courses (or their equivalents) must be completed with a minimum grade of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale ("C" letter grade)
- Distribution: Complete a minimum of 38 credit hours in the nursing major and 29-31 credit hours in general education courses according to the curriculum design.
- Timeframe: Complete the degree requirements within four years of the first enrollment in the ASN major. Records of students who fail to comply with this requirement will be reviewed in terms of the current curriculum.
- Location: Complete a minimum of 51 percent of the nursing major on the campus that grants the degree.
- Graduate: Apply for the degree at the beginning of the final semester.
