International and Non-Degree Students

International Students

Students without U.S. citizenship, including those on immigration visas, should:

  1. Submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
  2. Complete the online application.
  3. Submit the $55 application fee.
  4. Obtain visa to study at IU East.

Adult Non-Degree Students

Applicants who are over 21 years old and have earned a high school diploma or GED can apply as non-degree students and remain as such for up to 12 credit hours of course work. To apply as a non-degree student:

Graduate Non-Degree Students

Applicants who have already completed a bachelor's degree can apply as graduate non-degree students (these students are not admitted to an advanced degree program). To apply as a non-degree student:

Students who would like to enroll for a limited time and transfer their courses to another institution can apply as visiting students. Apply online here.
