David's Desk

January 25, 2008

Dear Students,

Welcome to Spring 2008 semester. By now you should be comfortable in your classes and ready to tackle those tough assignments. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please contact your academic advisor. We may be reached at 1-800-959-EAST, extension 235 or in the Academic Advising Center, Whitewater Hall room 112.

Do you know all of the resources available to you here on campus?  If not, ask your advisor.  The Academic Advising Center staff can inform you of your advisor assignment and and refer you to Tutorial Services or Student Support Services for assistance.  Remember, it's your grade we're talking about here!

We will be asking all freshmen to make appointments to see their advisor during the months of February and March to plan your schedule for Summer and Fall 2008.  We will look forward to meeting with each of you then and/or any time you feel you can use our help to be successful!

Sincerely,

David S.
Director, Academic Advising Center
