| The mission of the Area 9 Agency is to assist
older persons and disabled individuals of all ages in leading independent,
meaningful, and dignified lives in their own homes and communities for as
long as possible. The agency has served residents of Fayette, Franklin,
Rush, Union, and Wayne counties since 1975. |

Whether you need information about the services we provide, want to
volunteer in your community, or just want to know more about our agency
and staff, we've got it all right here for you. Area 9 In-Home
& Community Services Agency is one of 16 Area Agencies on Aging in
Indiana, serving the five county area of Fayette, Franklin, Rush, Union
and Wayne.
"We
can make a difference" Since
1975 the Area 9 Agency has offered programs that make a difference in
the lives of people..... from children suffering from
developmental delays or chronic medical conditions, to disabled
individuals, to older persons who are frail and can remain in their
homes if they receive the right services, to elderly people who are
healthy and can benefit from the activities and socialization
provided by community based programs such as Senior Centers.
While
we have been assisting elderly people in this area since 1975, we also
offer assistance in caring for disabled adults of all ages and medically
challenged children ages birth to 21. In addition, we have many
volunteer opportunities available, exciting special events throughout
the year and a number of dedicated staff dedicated to assisting you and
your family.
The
Area 9 Agency serves a five county area in Indiana: Fayette, Franklin,
Rush, Union and Wayne. We look forward to assisting you.
