Classroom Technology
Over 70% of our classrooms are equipped with special Audio / Visual / Computing technology. This includes modern amenities like:
- Desktop computers linked to ceiling mounted projectors
- "Smart boards"
- Document Cameras (modernized Overhead Projectors)
- Teleconferencing technology
- A/V technology (TV, VCR, DVD player)
Computer Labs
Our computer labs feature modern Dell PC's with flatscreen monitors and lightning-fast Internet access. Our Internet access is the fastest in the county and the second fastest in the state of Indiana. All computers feature the latest version of Microsoft Office. We also have one Linux lab in Middlefork Hall.
Campus-wide Wireless Internet
Wireless networking is available in all lobbies, sitting areas, and conference rooms. If your laptop or mobile device supports wireless Internet, you should be able to use our network. There are some technical preparations that need to be done before you can use it; Technophiles can check our knowledge base, Technophobes may bring their mobile device to the IT Help Desk at Hayes Hall 169, and a consultant will be happy to assist.
