I. Reporting

  1. Once registered, students will report volunteer/service hours online or in the Volunteer Action Center.
  2. Students will be asked to give the date, time (in length), location, type of service completed along with contact name and phone number
  3. Students will also be asked to give the name and phone number of a contact person from the organization served.
  4. The Student Intern will verify completion of all hours prior to updating the students service hours.

II. Rewards

  1. There will be five levels of rewards based on hours of service.
  2. The reward levels will go as follows:
    • 5 hours/ points: Key chain
    • 10 hours/ points: Write on / wipe off board
    • 20 hours/ points: ID Holder and lanyards
    • 35 hours/ points: Thermal Mug
    • 45 hours/ points: Sweatshirt

Any student, staff or faculty member will have recognition at the end of the year if they participate in any event.

As V.I.P. reaches each level, they will be notified via letter to pick their "thank you" from the Volunteer Action Center. The program will run on an annual basis. The course of the program will run from August through June.
