For their community clinical 6 students traveled to a Navajo Reservation in Arizona. During this cultural emersion they experienced; home health care, hospital care, and provided teaching presentations in the reservation school system.
Part of the experience was to visit with a Native American medicine man and experienced a tradition sweat. The following BSN seniors were accepted to participate: Lisa Edwards, Julie Engel, Janis Galusha, Chelsea Halcomb, Grady Jones and Jennifer Russell. Dr. Karen Clark was the clinical instructor for this Spring break experience.
