Tutorial Services Mission Statement
To create a supportive environment by providing instruction and services that will enhance academic performance and develop self-confidence, thereby promoting independent life-long learning.
Our Focus
The primary focus of Tutorial Services is to provide assistance to IU East students who wish to improve their academic performance. We offer students a wide range of free services including:
- Math, reading, and writing labs offering individual and group tutoring as well as workshops
- Computer-assisted instructional software
- Reference materials
- Instructional videos
Tutorial Services also offers the JUMPSTART program, provides support services to nursing students, and sponsors the Supplemental Instruction Program.
